Tarek Al-Rikhaimi is the EIF’s Chief Risk Officer.
Tarek brings over 30 years of successful experience in the financial services field – specifically in banking and investment banking management, risk management, operations management, strategic planning, product development, and project management, with more than 12 years as a C-suite executive in the Kingdom.
Tarek has extensive governance experience and is currently serving as a non-executive director for the General Organization of Social Security (GOSI) in addition to several joint stock companies such as and the Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC), the Saudi Electric Company (SEC), the Saudi Railway Company (SAR) and the Middle East Paper Company (MEPCO). Moreover, he has in-depth experience in Asset management, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Debt Instruments, and Derivatives.
Before joining EIF, Tarek worked as a Financial and Risk Advisor for several government and private sector entities. Prior to that, Tarek was the Chief Executive Officer for AlKhair Capital and Saudi Kuwaiti Finance House, Capital Market Authority (CMA) licensed investment companies.
Tarek holds both an MSc and a BSc in Civil Engineering from King Saud University.
